Only the people wearing headphones hear the music being played, making it an awesome choice for venues with noise constraints, or just to create a club-like atmosphere where you can still hold a conversation at a normal volume.
A silent disco can be as simple as setting up different playlists on different devices (up to three), so everyone can jam out to one of three choices of music.
